COVID-19 - Update on what you can expect whilst staying.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has impacted on us all and we hope this finds you safe and well. This page will highlight how it will affect your stay with us. If you require any more information please contact us directly. This page will be updated as and when things change. The latest update is 17th June 2020

Cleaning and sanitising. We have always strived to keep the house as clean as possible, and this will not change. All high traffic contact areas will be repeatedly santisised throughout the day and additionally after a new check in. Bedrooms will be set with freshly laundered (at 60c) bedding (including mattress &pillow protectors) and towels. In room toiletries, tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided upon check in so you can be assured they are new to you. So please do not be surprised if the bedroom looks bare, everything is available upon request.

Hand sanitisers will be available through out the house and you will be invited to use them at check in and as you move you around the house. You will also receive your own personal bottle of hand sanitiser.

Upon opening we intend to offer IN-ROOM dining only. You will be requested to pre-order your breakfast and it will be delivered to your bedroom at the agreed time. You are blessed with a bedroom with plenty of space for a dining table and chairs.

You will be given our mobile phone number so you can contact us with your orders and requests contactlessly. Having WhatsApp on your phone will ease this process. Or alternatively you will have a single use menu/list onto which all your requests can be made and left outside your bedroom.

UPON CHECK OUT - We would request that before you leave your bedroom you strip your own bed and put the bedding, including the mattress and pillow protectors and all towels into plastic laundry sacks (which we provide) seal them and leave them in the laundry basket in your room. If you are physically unable to do this please can you inform us in advance so we can consider blocking the room off for 72 hours before being able to strip the room. We hope that you understand that this request is you helping us to keep safe and therefore able to keep out guest house open. If one of us falls ill with Covid-19 we would be forced to close and cancel any future bookings

CHECK IN TIME - will not be available before 4pm. This is to ensure your room has been adequately cleaned, sanitised and aired before your arrival. If you wish to check in before this especially if you are arriving from the morning flight or first ferry we suggest you book the bedroom from the night before and then you will be able to check straight into your bedroom at that early hour.

CHECK OUT TIME - will be no later than 10am. If you require the room until the evening flight or last ferry we would suggest you book the room for that extra day so you can stay until your departure from the island.
